RARE Antique NEW MONARCH BARN TROLLEY Pat. Mar. 31, Nov. 2,1885 Hay Trolley

This trolley does not show up very often. Goggle images did not have one.

There Is a great web site that details step-by-step restoration of the New Monarch(haytrolleyheaven. The worst is that the locking mechanism that holds the drop pulley in place is missingpic. The trip mechanism is there but the drop pulley cannot be locked in place.. One of the legs has had a brass braise done on it to repair a crack or breakpic.

Two of the wheels at one point were removed and put then put back. The end of that small shaft was touched with a welder to keep the wheels in placepic.

All wheels and rollers turn easily. Not counting the drop pulley the trolley is 17 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 15 1/2.
