Old Well Pulley Large 10 Wheel Rustic Iron Fender Vintage 1800's Hairline Crack

Old and vintage hardware from the distant past and including some recent items. Old Well Pulley Large 10 Wheel Rustic Iron Fender Vintage 1800's Hairline Crack. These old pulleys were used in barns to lift hay. This pulley is in good condition with one cracked spoke in the wheel.

The screwdriver points to the crack. They also were used in a hand dug wells to pull up buckets full of water. The rustic cast iron has weathered nicely from years of rain and snow. The cast iron is nicely textured and lightly pitted from rust. Most of the paint has weathered off the pulley with little of the black paint remaining.

The wheel has some play from use wear. It was washed with water to remove most of the barn dirt.

The pulley wheel is 9 in diameter. The whole pulley and hook is 13.
