Old Well Fender Pulley 9 LARGE 1880's vintage Cast iron #10 Rustic Barn Silver

Old and vintage hardware from the distant past and including some recent items. Old Well Fender Pulley 9 LARGE 1880's vintage Cast iron #10 Rustic Barn Silver. These old pulleys were used in barns to lift hay. They also were used in a hand dug wells to pull up buckets full of water.

The rustic cast iron has weathered nicely from years of rain and snow. The cast iron is nicely textured and evenly pitted from rust. Some of the paint has weathered off the pulley with most of the silver paint remaining. This pulley is in good condition with no breaks or cracks. The wheel has some play from use wear.

It was washed with water to remove most of the barn dirt. The pulley wheel is 9 in diameter. The whole pulley and hook is 13 3/8. The rope groove is 3/4 wide.
