Disneyland Jungle Cruise Adventureland Block And Tackle Prop

This is a very cool block and tackle prop from The Jungle Cruise Pavilion in Disneyland California. It appears to be an actual block and tackle. Is very heavy made of wood and solid heavy metal.

But the great thing about this is an amazing shape. It doesn't appear to be a very old piece. It was not on the ride from the beginning. It is definitely a newer addition. Apparently this was displayed in many places in the Pavilion including the queue.

While I don't know exactly why it was removed, I can't tell you it was obtained 100% legally by a cast member. While it's not a very old piece, it's not a new piece either it was obtained about 5 or 6 years ago. However that doesn't mean that it was removed 5 or 6 years ago.

I don't know when it was removed. It might have been removed way before then. Apparently it was removed during a refurbishment and was going to be used somewhere else in Adventureland, but it never was used again. It is heavy and large and must go priority overseas.
