Deadlock Barn Carrier Trolley Carrier withdrop pulley- barn farm steam punk decor
Antique DeadLock Swivel Hay Trolley - made in Janesville, Wis. This trolley would ride along a wood beam at the top ridge of the barn.
Could have been used to move any number of large carriers from one part of barn to another - or out of a barn. Most carriers and trolleys were put in when the barn was raised and stay there until the barn is taken down. No breaks or repairs that I see - wheels and swivel are free on trolley and also on the center drop pulley.
Center pulley locks in place when held upright - latch holds. Hese just don't show up very often so don't let this one get away! This is a nice size for display or use approximately 22 " x 16" x 7 - put simple drop-light fixture with this and rub it down with a little oil or rust inhibitor to bring out the rich brown patina and you have a great steam-punk fixture.
