Beautiful ORNATE Vintage FE Myers 4 Hay Trolley Carrier Barn Pulley Late 1800s

This is a beautiful, ornate 4 hay trolley made by FE Myers in Ashland, OH in the late 1800's, complete with drop pulley! This amazing piece of American history was removed from an old hay barn in the Midwest and then restored by spending many meticulous hours cleaning and oiling all surfaces to reveal a beautiful, authentic, chocolate brown patina! No paint or artificial patinas applied. All track rollers and rope sheaves rotate and work perfectly, and the drop pulley locks and engages into the trolley as expected.

There is a pretty significant farmer fix on one side where a blacksmith brazed the frame together (shown in pictures), and the track wheels are not perfectly straight. With that being said, I would not put this unit back into service, but the trolley would make an amazing display, converted into a light fixture, or used as décor in your home, man-cave, she-shed, or place of business. This trolley measures 14.5" wide, 19" tall, 7 deep, and weighs approximately 25 pounds. The track and the rope shown are NOT included as part of the listing.
