Antique Barn Carrier Trolley - unknown maker - Unique Triple Wheel design - no center swivel part. This trolley would ride along a steel track or cable at the top ridge of the barn.
Could have been used to move any number of large carriers from one part of barn to another - or out of a barn. Most carriers and trolleys were put in when the barn was raised and stay there until the barn is taken down.
No breaks or repairs that I see - wheels are free but center latch is froze. Hese just don't show up very often so don't let this one get away!This is a nice size for display or use approximately 17-1/2 " x 12" x 3-1/2 - put simple drop-light fixture with this and rub it down with a little oil or rust inhibitor to bring out the rich brown patina and you have a great steam-punk fixture.
