Antique Wood Cast Iron Louden Hoisting Singletree Hay Trolley Lift Farm Barn

This particular singletree is embossed LOUDEN MACHY CO. FAIRFIELD IA and was manufactured anywhere between the years 1870 -1887 before Louden applied and received his patents. Measurements are 26-1/4" wide at the opening, 20" from opening to O ring and the wood is 3 thick. Condition wise the cast iron stirrup and o rings are lightly rusted but move freely.

Condition wise there are areas of rust, chips to the wood here and there and a thin linear surface split in the wood. The split is on the surface, is cosmetic and no stress weakness is noted.
