Antique / Vintage Cast Iron Ney Hay Trolley Barn Pulley Old Farm Tool Rustic

This is the large 7 drop pulley for a Ney hay trolley. It is 12 1/4" tall (including the ring at the top) x 7 3/8" wide.

It was designed to lock into the trolley and was used to put up loose hay in the barn. The frame was pretty clean to start with, very minor surface rust. This pulley was not painted but was cleaned without stripping away the beautiful iron patina and sealed to protect and preserve the look. The cast iron is smooth and free from pitting. The frame has no breaks or repairs. The eye hook swivels and the sheave turns freely. Barn pulleys make great rustic decorators and are very collectible. This beauty has a great look and will display nicely in your home or place of business.
