Antique Vintage Cast Iron Jacob Ney Hay Trolley Pat. 1879 Farm Tool Pulley

This trolley traveled back and forth on an iron rod instead of a steel track or wood beam. It comes with a VL Ney drop pulley. There is some pitting on the trolley. The wood sheave for both the drop pulley and the hay trolley are in good shape with only a few normal age cracks and no chips. One of the arms to the locking mechanism has a break shown in the last pic.

The locking mechanism still works as it should and firmly holds the drop pulley in place. The break is inside the frame and is difficult to see. There are no other breaks or repairs. The trolley and drop pulley were cleaned and given a light coat of boiled linseed oil. The trolley itself is 19 1/2" long x 10" tall x 4 thick.
