This has a Patent Pending, so it is early example. Other patents from this company are dated 1915 & 1916. It measures 6" wide x 10" Long, and weighs 2 Lbs.
There is a clamp & thumb screw for securing it to fence, or board for weaving or braiding four strains or rope twine. The clamp area is 1.00 Max open.
All movements work with ease... There is No grease or oil anywhere. I have owned this for years after purchasing it from an Antique store...I had No idea what it was at the time... I have used it as a conversation piece in my office... The cotter pins have never been bent over, so it is easy to take apart.
