Antique J. M. Boyd 1884 Positive Lock Swivel Hay Trolley

Boyd's 1884 Positive Lock Hay Carrier. This trolley has some breaks, chips, wrong sheave, some wrong nuts and bolts, and missing the center drop pulley BUT it is a very rare collectible part of hay trolley history. The main chassis with the beam runner wheels seems to be in great shape. All four wheels roll nicely without any excessive wobble. The collar with "Swivel" embossed on it seems to be in good shape. The two throat sections have breaks and are missing chunks around the lip and the locking mechanism that holds the drop pulley in place looks to be broken. Please see the pictures for details.
