Antique Hay Trolley Carrier farm barn RARE Myers Cable & Rod Unloader

Antique Hay Trolley - Carrier - Unloader. Myers Cable & Rod Unloader with center drop pulley. These just don't show up very often so don't let this one get away!

This is a nice size for display or use. Unloader is approximately 12" x 14" x 7. Center drop pulley is approximately 9" x 2-1/2" x 4-1/2 (wheel is wooden). I don't see any cracks, breaks or repairs - there are some chips in the rollers.

All of the parts that are supposed to move do move - they are not stuck or froze. The center swivel part is very stiff and will need some grease to make it move freer. There is some of the original paint remaining and surface rust.

This trolley would ride along a cable or rod at the top ridge of the barn. Most hay trolleys were put in when the barn was raised and stay there until the barn is taken down. Some think of them as the "soul" of the barn.
