It has a patent date of 1899. It comes with the correct drop pulley and everything functions as it should. The top and bottom rotate, the locking mechanism for the drop pulley works perfectly, all the trolley wheels turn freely as well as all the sheaves for the drop pulley and trolley.

It is in working condition. There is one small chip in one of the trolley wheels (pic 5) with nothing else chipped, cracked, broken or repaired. It has been lightly cleaned leaving intact as much of the old original red paint as possible then given a 2 coats of wax. It comes with rope as shown. It is 16" long x 21" tall (with the drop pulley in place) x 8 wide. It can be displayed suspended by a 2 x 4 or 4 x 4.
