Antique Cast Iron Hunt Helm Ferris & Co Harvester Hay Trolley Carrier Unloader

This is an original antique cast iron Hunt Helm Ferris & Co (Harvard, ILL) "Harvester" rail runner hay trolley in excellent condition. It appears to be in working condition and complete, including the separate drop pulley and the piece that inserts into the top to secure the clamp. All wheels turn, nothing is chipped, cracked, broken, or repaired, and the trolley pivots in the middle as intended. The entire piece has acquired a naturally aged patina and is perfectly usable for a variety of decorative or repurposing projects.

The trolley measures 22 1/2" across the wheels at the bottom, 16" from top to bottom (not including the drop pulley), and about 7 1/4 in diameter at the middle. There is 2 of space between the wheel ridges for a rail to fit through. The drop pulley measures 13 1/4" L including the clip at the bottom x about 9 1/2" across the middle.
