Vtg Antique CLOVER LEAF UNLOADER HAY TROLLEY barn carrier with pulley, dealer tag

This well-preserved, all-original, Clover Leaf Unloader works as well as the day it was made more than 100 years ago. All of its parts move and rotate freely, and the drop pulley latches securely into the trolley just as it should.

Much of its original silver paint is still intact! The upper part of the trolley has a patent date of May 12, 1903 in raised letters in the casting. The lower part of the trolley shows patent dates of May 12, 1903 and Jan 22, 1895. We've included photos showing all sides of the trolley, with the drop pulley in both its latched and lowered position.

In this case the dealer was BROWN-HURLEY HDWR. Of DES MOINES, IA as shown in one of the closeup photos. This nicely sized trolley measures 15" long between the outsides of the track wheels, and 19" tall including the drop pulley in its latched position. We are including lengths of its original 1-diameter rope. The entire assembly weighs about 28 pounds. The rope wheels on the trolley are 4" diameter and the pulley wheel is also 4" diameter. There are no cracks, welds, or other damage to this trolley or its drop pulley. We thoroughly clean and lubricate these old trolleys, but leave them in their original and vintage condition. You certainly could have it media-blasted, repainted, and outfitted with new rope to look new, but we prefer to present them in their "natural" state. We guarantee your complete satisfaction because all of our items are.
