TWIN Vintage 1887 Ney Hay Barn Trolley Carrier Farm Wood Pulley Tool with Track

A pair of twin hay trolleys that was manufactured and patented on April 5, 1887 by the Ney Manufacturing company in Canton, Ohio, and removed from an old hay barn in Iowa. These trolleys include a 6 foot piece (custom lengths available) of original Ney trolley track with 3 original track hooks for hanging from your ceiling or application, as well as a 15 foot piece (custom lengths available) of original barn trolley rope. Many meticulous hours have been spent cleaning and restoring this early piece of farming history by removing all loose rust and dirt. An oil coating has been applied to the surface to bring out its natural chocolate brown patina. All parts, wheels, sheaves, and components work perfectly as these trolleys could literately be put back into a barn to move hay, or into your custom application! These trolley measures 16" long, 6" deep, and 18 tall with the drop pulley installed and locked, and weigh around 26 pounds each, with total weight of the trolleys and track being around 60 pounds. This will no doubt be an amazing, unique conversation piece for any application!
