Huge Antique Vintage Pulley Hook Block Tackle 32 Lbs California Redwood Logging

Up for sale is this antique block and tackle probably from the California redwood logging days. It may also be nautical as we are on the Pacific coast. It weighs 32.2 pounds and measures 20-1/2" long, 7-1/2" wide and 5-1/2 thick.

There's some decay on the wood as shown in the photos. The metal parts are not seized but they are rusty. The hook has a 5-pointed star stamp on one side and. A mark I couldn't quite make out on the other, possibly inititals. It's just a little wiggly from shrinkage of the wood I'm guessing but the hook still swivels. The lock still closes and the wheel turn a bit before it wants to stop and. I didn't force it any further. Ships free in the lower 48 states!
