Early 1700's to early 1800's ship's block and tackle/pulley Nautical Antique

I was told by the former owner that it was salvaged in the waters off the New England coast. The method of manufacture suggests probable late 1700's since it was made from hand forged and hammered smelt iron by a shipwright-blacksmith. Very large and heavy and very desirable right now for designers, homeowner's, or restaurant and business owners, since this would make an incredible reworked chandelier for those that like/love nautical design.

Because of it's age and rarity (most of these items on the market today are 50 to 100 years newer than this relic), this very old ships' pulley/block and tackle is a museum piece.. Price is temporarily only 250 dollars. This old iron piece weighs about 16 pounds and measures about 17" long by 8" across. The item "Early 1700's to early 1800's ship's block and tackle/pulley Nautical Antique" is in sale since Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
