Antique Vintage Cast Iron Ney Mfg. Hay Trolley Pat. 1879 Farm Barn Tool

Hay trolley with a patent date of 1879. The patent date was not cast into this trolley but I have this exact trolley in my collection with the patent date. This wonderful example of one of Ney's early wood track hay trolleys has been completely disassembled, lightly cleaned, oiled and wiped down then waxed. The drop pulley is the correct pulley and locks into place as it should. Particular attention was given to saving as much of the original patina as possible. Every component of this working trolley functions as it should.

There is no damage or repairs. No special track needed for display.

A 2x4 or 4x4 will work perfectly. It is 24" tall with the drop pulley in place x 18 1/2" long x 7 wide.

A fantastic trolley that will make a spectacular stand alone piece or can be turned into an amazing one of a kind hay trolley chandelier. In either case it will look great in your home, shop, or place of business.
