Antique 7 Wood & Iron Well or Barn Pulley This fine old iron and wood barn or well pulley is in good condition. This great, old, heavy duty barn pulley has been lightly cleaned and given a coat of good quality wood oil. There are several age splits as you can see in the pictures below, but it is still very solid, stable and usable if you so desire. The large wooden wheel is 7" in diameter and the total length of the pulley is 14" to the top of the cast iron swiveling eye.

These old pulleys were used in Iowa mainly to facilitate the hoisting of hay into the hayloft. This very attractive, solid pulley can be put to work just like it is, or will look great hanging your wall as a piece of rustic decor.
