Antique Hay Trolley Cast Iron Farm Tool Barn Pulley Hay Carrier Vintage Unloader
Here is a fantastic, early, antique Cast Iron Hay Trolley / Carrier / Unloader. This stunning piece of early farm mechanization was made by the LEALE company (not one I've heard of -rare) and is dated 1886 - so, it's one of the older ones I've ever come across. Included is the original drop down pulley- these are increasingly rare to come by when paired, this is clasped in the trolley by movable parts so it is easily removed. This has been modestly refurbished / burnished to reveal the raw Cast Iron -light paint was used in the hard to reach corners then an overall clear enamel is applied to prevent corrosion. It's design is regal and bold. An important piece of history that you are sure to enjoy for many years wherever it's used or displayed.
Measures approximately 2 feet tall including the drop down pulley. It is about 16 inches wide. There are no chips and all of the wheels. One bolt is missing through the body but it doesn't affect it's functionality. Find more unique, burnished antique Cast Iron pieces at.
